Back in March, I was here for a Chinese New Year's banquet with a very large group of people, where the head of the group rented out one of the rooms. As it was a banquet, I can't exactly comment on the prices, but the food was very tasty overall, with particularly good seafood. The service was quick, refilling tea whenever necessary. The following were the dishes in order: Shrimp Trio Appetizer: Included Har Gow, Shumai, and Shrimp Egg Rolls. Favorites were the shumai, then the har gow, and then the egg rolls. All the dumpling skins were pretty thin and good quality, with plenty of plump shrimp. Shumai in particular had a wonderful bouncy texture Steamed Pacific Oyster With XO Sauce: One of the unexpected highlights. Excellent XO sauce with a lot of umami and a surprising amount of kick with giant tender oysters beneath. I am not usually the biggest fan of oysters, but this was excellent Roasted Squab: Fun presentation with tasty bony meat. Not dry with a nice crispy edge. One of the meat highlights, outside of it being maybe a little bit salty Snow Pea Leaves With Dried Scallop: Fresh snow peas, but not much flavor from the compoy/dried scallop, with it more providing a gloop

Lack of transparency with billing. Treated family to Alaskan king crab - ordered it in the 3 way preparation. It’s expensive enough and it was expected for this treat. However, when the bill came, the crab was $7 more per pound (for an 8.5lb crab). Questioned it and was told it was for the 3 way preparation and the cost of the noodles. This crab is usually prepared in this manner. $59 more for NOODLES? It was a lovely celebration w/family so while I was displeased, I didn’t want to argue and paid it. My rationale is that we usually overtip so the total worked out about the same. Additionally, they insisted on cutting the cake we brought themselves to serve us. Ridiculously, they cut the TOP HALF into slices and proceeded (quite proudly when we questioned it) that “there’s a whole other cake left”. Are you kidding? In fairness, parking lot next door is convenient and service by wait staff was generally attentive and helpful. However, we will not be returning.

I had a really great time here with family. Atmosphere was just right. Everything we had was amazing. The jian dui was especially delicious. I wish I tried their zhou but I decided not to fill up on rice that day. It looked really good. The tofu pudding was served a little cold, I wish it was hot when served.

This place is a gem and I genuinely love it. I’ve been coming here for dinner for many years, usually with a large group of at least 10 friends, and we always have a great time. The atmosphere is lively, the food is consistent, and it’s the kind of spot that just works for a big group of Chinese food lovers. I know they’re best known for their dim sum brunch and lunch, which absolutely deserves the hype, but I promise you, dinner is just as fantastic. One of my favorite things to do is pick something fresh from the tank and let the kitchen prepare it a few different ways. One tip: their wine selection isn’t the strongest, but they let you BYOB for a flat per person corkage fee, which is nice. Overall, it’s a wonderful authentic Chinese restaurant, and a great place to come when you want to enjoy something authentic. Highly recommend.

My friend and I went without reservations and were seated right away. The atmosphere felt very homey — large round tables that could easily seat 8+ people, giving it that family-style dining vibe. As soon as we sat down, they brought out green tea and peanuts, which was a nice touch. The waiter initially hovered a bit but seemed to notice we were still deciding, so he stepped away and came back later to take our order. The restaurant mainly focuses on seafood, but since my friend has an allergy, we ordered from the American Chinese menu instead. We got the veggie egg fried rice, chicken wings, veggie steamed buns, and the star of the night — sesame chicken. The fried rice was unfortunately very dry; we ended up using the sesame chicken sauce just to make it more enjoyable. The wings were disappointing. I was expecting traditional wings, but they were more buffalo-style and didn’t taste good at all. The veggie steamed buns were just okay — nothing special. The sesame chicken, however, was amazing. If I ever came back, it would honestly just be for that dish. At the end of the meal, they brought out fruit, which was surprisingly fresh and delicious. When it was time to pay, we not
